“Project Haibu” is focused on working toward building drones with customer-centric solutions. At Haibu, we aim to rethink drone design and integration. Usually, drone builds involve clunky wires and payloads but if we tailor build the UAV like an integrated circuit and focus on a modular approach where everything is removable and replaceable without worry about part availability because we build everything to fit perfectly in-house. We currently are working on an agricultural sprayer/granular spreader drone as we have the customers from the spice plantation and co-operatives. We are starting a producer company which will allow members to join and share drones as a collective among each other similar to a subscription model and the drones will be owned by the company and the overall cost is divided among the members.For example, if a agricultural drone is 600K and is divided by 10 memebers then they will pay 60K each and will be eligible for unlimited parts and maintaince subject to a company maintaince fee with is borne by the members. The Ethos is to build low-cost drones that can combine artificial intelligence and create a complex bio-mimicry based behavioral flight controller to allow small drones to withstand wind speeds of up to 20 mph and send image packet data with GPS coordinates to a ground station which then uses proprietary AI-based SIFT algorithm to find and track customer-based requirements.
