Proud Trailblazers Private Limited is a new company, incorporated on 01 Apr 2019. It's founded by two media veterans: Anantha Chinivar H C and R P Maiya. Together, they bring with them a combined experience of more than five decades in the world of news. Anantha Chinivar has been a renowned name in the media fraternity in Karnataka as someone who has had an impeccably unblemished integrity and has built media organisations from the scratch. He has headed television news channels like Janasri, Suvarna News, and News18 Kannada, after serving in the English Print for almost a decade; before moving over to television, he had served in organisation of such repute as India Today and The New Indian Express. Maiya has been one of the pioneers of a seamless distribution system in the state for newspapers. He was instrumental in turning around a slackening Kannada Prabha and The New Indian Express, the two highly-respected newspapers in the state, way back in the late nineties. Thereafter, he was also among those who scripted the success of Vijaya Karnataka, another leading newspaper. PTPL aims to redefine entertainment in Karnataka, by infusing it with a sense of pride. One of the objectives of the company is to serve as a platform for young and bright talents in the state to find their foothold and prosper. The product, PRIDE, built by it will serve the entertainment needs of the state in its four prime languages: Kannada, Tulu, Konkani, and Kodava.
