Punjab Chamber of Commerce and Industries (PCCI) has been incorporated for the profound mission to promote Punjab. PCCI is a dedicated organization to advance institutional support in promoting and facilitating holistic development of Punjab through engaging stake holders for improving the general conditions in which businesses operate, to facilitate access to markets within and beyond Punjab and to ensure the availability of human, financial and natural resources. PCCI strives to be an instrumentality in accelerating growth and development through building deep economic convergence between Punjab and outer world. As a dedicated chamber to promote the grand cause of Punjab, PCCI seeks to engage with governments, industry, federal governments, business associations and other stakeholders for forging the economic partnership and extending sustainable solutions to the emerging needs of the local communities. PCCI stands to facilitate investment and developmental needs, technology transfer, capacity building and creating the robust ecosystem to advance seamless interaction between Punjab and global communities for sustainable and mutually beneficial relations. PCCI, as an institution, is also committed to the idea of promoting and celebrating vibrant Punjabi culture and festivity by taking it to the masses through showcasing on massive platforms and to arrange Punjab’s participation in the events which are of international stature. PCCI - driven by the assiduous approach with the shared vision to stimulate the holistic development of Punjab, Endeavour’s to be a ‘force multiplier’ in transforming Punjab industrial and commercial ecosystem The main objects to be pursued by the company on its incorporation are: 1. To build brand “PUNJAB”, to promote and develop Ease of doing business, MSME, Entrepreneurship/Startup/Standup, Skilling for employment and Employment for Skilled in Punjab. 2. To strive to be an instrumentality in accelerating growth and development through building deep economic convergence between Punjab and outer world. 3. To engage with governments, industry, federal governments, business associations and other stake holders for forging economic partnership and extending sustainable solutions to the emerging needs of the local communities. 4. To facilitate investment and developmental needs, technology transfer, capacity building and creating robust ecosystem to advance seamless interaction between Punjab and global communities for sustainable and mutual beneficial relations. 5. To further the idea of promoting and celebrating vibrant Punjabi culture and festivity by taking it to the masses through showcasing on massive platforms 2 and to arrange Punjab’s participation in the events which are of international stature. 6. To promote Punjab as the most favoured place to do business, Work to attract investment into Punjab - domestic & foreign. 7. To work to improve the efficiency & productivity of industry in the state. 8. To Provide collective strength to smaller associations in Punjab and for the Entrepreneurial development of Punjabi youth. 9. To coordinate all the skill initiatives of the State Govt. & industry. 10. Provide regularly customized and value-added knowledge and information ranging from business opportunities to important policy changes 11. To set up exhibitions, trade shows, buyer-seller meets, catalogue shows for the benefit of members and the State. 12. To facilitate all events of state for promotion of economic development e.g. Investors Summit, Progressive Punjab Agriculture Summit, Delegations abroad, Participation in the international exhibitions & events. 13. To organize seminars/workshops/symposia, training programs, etc., on subjects of tropical interests for the benefit of members and the general public. 14. To collaborate on behalf of Punjab Industry with national & international organizations. 15. To provide regularly customized and value-added knowledge and information ranging from business opportunities/Economy to important policy changes 16. To provide a forum for business missions from abroad for developing bilateral trade/ multilateral trade with foreign countries and to sponsor business missions to other countries 17. To represent business and industry in various government bodies and institutions 18. To publish reports, papers, books, monographs, studies etc. for members and the community and to Promote Punjab. 19. To promote NRI connect – Sadda Punjab in association with NRI, 3 20. To develop networking opportunities with government officials, diplomats, leading names from all spheres of life and also your business peers
