Founded by filmmaker Chakreshhar Singh Surya, and chaired by his mother, Mrs. Pushpa Surya, the company aims to bring forward stories that are rooted in the soul of India. While Mrs. Pushpa Surya is not from a filmmaking background, her deep understanding of Indian culture, values, and traditions serves as a guiding light for the kind of stories Pushphar Films chooses to tell. As a housewife, she represents the everyday Indian woman—strong, grounded, and full of wisdom—which makes her the perfect custodian of a company that wants to stay connected to its roots. On the other hand, Chakreshhar Singh Surya, with nearly a decade of experience in the Hindi film industry, brings the creative leadership needed to execute powerful stories—through films, documentaries, and regional content. His vision is to promote regional talent, spotlight untold stories, and help develop Madhya Pradesh, especially Jabalpur, as a growing center for film production. Together, this mother-son duo stands for a unique kind of cinema—one that respects tradition, nurtures new voices, and reflects the real India.
