Pyaas Dairy Private Limited (CIN U46302UW2026PTC255483; incorporated 9 July 2026) is an early-stage, technology-first dairy enterprise in Uttar Pradesh building a fully traceable "farm-to-home" dairy chain — "Know Your Milk." It addresses the opacity of India's informal milk trade, where milk is pooled and blended (so adulteration is hard to trace), farmers are paid late at flat rates with no documented income, and consumers cannot verify purity. Pyaas has developed a proprietary digital platform — a consumer QR-traceability app, the "Pyaas Saathi" field app, and a traceability engine — built and now in field pilot in Gonda. Milk is sourced from named farms and tested at collection for quality (fat and SNF); a quality-linked payment is settled to the farmer's bank/UPI instantly, creating a verifiable per-farmer income record; and every pack is bound farm-to-pack via QR code for consumer verification and rapid recall. Procurement, production and reconciliation are digitised on the same thread. The platform is cloud-hosted, API-ready and DPDP-aligned, composing proven components (UPI, QR, standard analysers, cloud) into an integrated data architecture. Products are under development on a staged roadmap (A2 bilona ghee, then A2/fresh milk, curd and paneer), sold direct-to-consumer in Lucknow with ghee shippable nationally; revenue is earned on the margin of branded, traceable products. The model is a replicable, API-ready cluster deployable across cooperatives, private dairies and geographies, with an eleven-role rural partner ecosystem (employment) and the potential to make undocumented smallholders bankable (wealth creation), aligned with KCC-AH, AHIDF, NABARD FPO financing and UP's Nand Baba Dugdh Mission. Pyaas has been invited to run a no-cost 90-day digital-traceability Proof of Concept for the state cooperative dairy federation (PCDF/Parag), advancing traceability, food safety, digital transformation and rural financial inclusion.
