Quenchit is determined to drastically reduce the water wastage from RO water purifiers and ensure healthy drinking water. We are also determined to incorporate intelligence in the purifier to minimize the breakdown, to ease the product adoption, data mining, etc. We evaluate water purifier as a lucrative yet very competitive market and to be successful in such marketplace we have to prove ourselves as thought leader and we believe that our startup has got that potential. As an evidence when we have approached to DSIR Department, Gov. of India, for financial support under their PRIZM scheme they have also found it unique / innovative and thus approved a suitable grant for developing the technology on July 2018. We had successfully completed / demonstrated the project on July - Aug 2019. Sometime, in late 2019 NGT started coming down heavy on RO water purifier manufacturers to reduce the water wastage and improve drinking water quality, exactly which comprises the core of our startup. So indirectly our problem identification got validated by NGT as well. At present NGT is committed to enforce regulation over the parameters like water wastage from RO. Very recently we have demonstrated our high recovery concept to one of India's top notch RO water purifier manufacturer. During this month long process at their R&D center we have successfully demonstrated up to 87% recovery @ 300 TDS input water, it is 70% @ 800 TDS input water and it is 50% @ 1250 TDS input water. On the other hand side the purified water TDS was always between 72 to 105 ppm and pH > 7 without any additional post treatment. So there is no chance of very low TDS / acidic (pH <7) nature drinking water which can be the cause of health issues in long run. At the moment this deal for strategic collaboration is under scrutiny from both end. At the moment we are open to evaluate more such options across various segments of RO water purifiers. We have also able to onboard IIM Udaiur Incubation Center and PadUp Ventures as a part of our team in a vision to reach Series A funding level in next 18 to 24 months. Back in the year 2017 when there was nothing much on the part of execution, though we were not able to be among the top 50 startups but managed to be among the top 400 Startups as rated jointly by IIM Calcutta Innovation Park and DST during SMART FIFTY startup challenge. In the year 2018 our startup was selected among the top 40 startups from Rajasthan & Gujrat by IIM Ahmedabad and thus we win a entry to the SAP sponsored SAP SOCIAL ENTERPRENURESHIP PROGRAM at IIM-A By the end of year 2019 got selected by DC(MSME) for the program SUPPORT FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL AND MANAGERIAL DEVELOPMENT OF MSME THROUGH INCUBATORS which commits a grant of around 10 lakh. But unfortunately this program got adversely effected by Covid situation. In the year 2020 we got selected and successfully completed the launchpad program LAUNCH N ZOOM 2.0 organized by IIM Udaipur.
