RK Arya Hydroponics Farms in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, is a high tech agricultural venture where exotic vegetables are cultivated under controlled environment technology using fan and pad systems, IoT, automation, and dosing units. It holds the distinction of being the first project in the country to be registered under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund or AIF scheme. Controlled Environment Agriculture Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without soil, using water enriched with essential mineral nutrients. At RK Arya Hydroponics Farms, crops are grown inside protected climate controlled structures that insulate plants from unpredictable weather, pests, and ambient temperature swings. Key Technological Features Fan and Pad Systems: Evaporative cooling pads and exhaust fans maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels inside the greenhouse, ensuring ideal growing conditions throughout the year. IoT and Automation: Sensors continually monitor key microclimate variables such as temperature, humidity, light intensity, and water quality parameters. Automated controls adjust conditions in real time without manual intervention. Precision Dosing Units: Automated nutrient dosing systems precise delivery of water, acidity levels, and dissolved mineral nutrients directly to plant roots, maximizing growth efficiency and minimizing resource waste. Exotic Vegetable Cultivation Using these advanced controlled environment techniques, the farm efficiently produces premium, high demand exotic vegetables such as bell peppers and various leafy greens with consistent quality, uniform size, and fast growth cycles. Significance of AIF Registration The Agriculture Infrastructure Fund is a Central Sector Scheme launched by the Government of India to provide medium to long term financing for post-harvest management infrastructure and community farming assets. Being the first hydroponic farm in India registered under the AIF scheme demonstrates its pioneer status.
