The current size of the Indian fashion industry is worth Rs.1000 crore, while the market size is approximated to be Rs.20,000 crore. This is only 0.2 percent of the world fashion market. However, the fashion industry in India is in its growth stage, and this is evident from the growing number of designers, boutiques, outlets and design schools. Customers in our country are becoming more fashion centric. The increasingly growing middle-class in our country are major drivers of the growth of fashion industry. Within few years, the aggregate income in the country will create a whole new class of consumers. I Am An IBM certified business analyst having experience of working as a software developer for " ERM- Enterprise resource management" I always had an inclination towards retail marketing as well as brand development but since becoming an engineer was always a dream, An Engineer turned into merchandiser ,well versed with the roles of a merchandiser from yarn procurement to Fob shipment delivery . working in line with buyers by following constant communication from the day one. Having a decent product development knowledge helps to be efficient in cost. Development of new Domestic customer as well as international Buyers regularly by studying market condition, trend analysis, and action plan for the same on regular intervals. Monitor every stage of garment manufacturing which helps in fixing any issue if arises at primarily level. Capacity planning for each month as well as to provide delivery estimates by following minimum lead time. Internal analysis of capacity vs production on daily basis which helps in managing efficiency.
