RAKSHAKARY BIOFUEL PRIVATE LIMITED The first step is to prepare the feedstock, which involves sourcing the oils or fats, and refining them to remove impurities, such as water, free fatty acids, and contaminants. RAKSHAKARY BIOFUEL PRIVATE LIMITED In this step, the refined feedstock is mixed with an alcohol and a catalyst, typically sodium or potassium hydroxide, in a reactor. The mixture undergoes a chemical reaction, known as trans esterification, which converts the triglycerides into biodiesel and glycerin. RAKSHAKARY BIOFUEL PRIVATE LIMITED After the trans esterification reaction, the mixture is allowed to settle to separate the biodiesel from the glycerin and any remaining impurities. The glycerin is removed as a byproduct, and the biodiesel is subjected to further purification processes, such as washing and drying, to meet quality standards. RAKSHAKARY BIOFUEL PRIVATE LIMITED The produced biodiesel is tested for various parameters, including viscosity, flash point, cloud point, and acid value, to ensure it meets the required specifications.
