RAMDAS GREENPLAS PRIVATE LIMITED
Block C-1 & C-2, Haryana
In their own words
Our proposal is for PLA (Polylactic acid)/PHA (Poly hydro xyalkanoate)/PBAT (Polybutylene Adipate Terephthalate) bags. The PLA/PHA/PBAT bags look and feel just like the ones made from traditional plastic. Their granule size ranges between 5 to 20 microns. i.e. good absorption capacity, rapid gel formation & good strength. PLA/PHA/PBAT is in principle compostable, meaning that it will break down under certain conditions into harmless natural compounds. This could take pressure off the nation’s mounting landfills, since plastics already take up 25 percent of dumps by volume. The global compostable plastic market size is projected to reach USD 8.73 billion by 2025. The starch based segment leads the global compostable plastic market. Starch based plastics are used in various applications such as packaging, consumer electronics, agriculture, automotive and textiles. We, being innovation driven, committed to excellence and working to become internationally recognized as an environmentally responsible clean plastic enterprise, in the field of Compostable Plastic has proposed the concept of establishing a unit dedicated towards production of PLA/PHA/PBAT bags.
