We're Raoui Apparels, a woman-run clothing company focused on custom-made clothing catering to all occasions in a person’s life through our brand, Mirali. We are motivated by the need to modernise the handloom industry of India. We intend on doing this by integrating technology which will create innovations in the area of designing, production management and also provide an extremely advanced and well-suited customer experience. For Mirali, we will be working with diverse handloom communities based out of South India. We’re currently working with the Balaramapuram Weaving community in Thiruvananthapuram,Kerala. Our handloom wearables embodies sustainability, eco-consciousness and are most comfortably high-fashion with a traditionally-modern tinge. We are aiming to put together an E-Commerce lifestyle application which will be a one-stop-shop for all those mindful shoppers who are intending to shop more sustainably. This will also enable handloom products to be put on a map more efficiently which will in turn help it gain the global recognition it already deserves. This will catalyse a new interest in people to also consider buying more intentionally, as the products become more easily available to them. As an added advantage, our young generation would receive more opportunities to find jobs in the fashion sector.
