Reckon Green Innovations Pvt Ltd was incorporated in 2013, to offer energy efficient solutions to customers to reduce energy foot print in buildings. Achieved more than 1 MW load offset and Grade-2 ESCO rating from Bureau of Energy Efficiency within a short period.. Tube lights are the largest used lamps in general purpose lighting globally. Current inventory in India alone is >60Cr lamps that need to be converted to LED to reduce energy and carbon emissions with a market potential of Rs.30,000 Cr. But the existing LED tube lights have problems preventing early adoption and realizing full benefit of LED technology. 1. 80% life and 80% useful parts of LED tube lights is wasted due to failure of electronic drivers, causing investment loss and generating electronic waste. Driver heat reduces life of LEDs 2. Complex process of retrofitting existing fixtures requires skill with high initial cost. 3. Consumers in US & EU prefer Plug & Play LED tube lights to save labor costs. But in-line ballasts consume 25-40% of the power consumed by LED tubes with higher recurring energy costs and twice the risk of failures. 4. Using LED battens (UJALA Scheme) to replace old fixtures exposes paint patches that need repainting walls. 5. Many models to meet installation and functional needs causing high inventory in production, distribution and maintenance. 6. Low performance and power factor causing higher bills in commercial sectors.
