Repave X is a climate-tech startup that focuses on converting unmanaged single-use plastic waste and mining by-products into recyclable, high-performance infrastructure products, such as paver tiles, drain covers, and roofing sheets. We are currently in the research and development phase of our proprietary composite material and technology. We are in the final stages of our development and plan to commission our first 12 TPD pilot plant within the next six months. Our innovation is the manufacturing of high-performance modern infrastructure products such as paver tiles and roofing sheets for various kinds of projects, ranging from the public to the private sector, which are better in terms of performance and strength than traditional concrete products. Through our process, we are upcycling single-use plastic waste collected by MSW that usually ends up in landfills or is incinerated into finished products and eliminating that plastic from the recycling stream for more than a hundred years. Our aim is also to create a social impact by uplifting informal waste workers by providing them with dignified jobs at our facility, hence formalising their jobs by bringing them into a formal system. Repave X is a mission more than a venture, that will prove to be a breathtaking solution for the plastic waste problem of India, which in itself is one of the country's biggest challenges. We plan to set up multiple micro units around the country to manage plastic waste efficiently in the coming years. We are unique in terms of our technology, our products and our process. All aspects of our venture come together as founding pillars to showcase our innovation and creativity in the management of legacy waste. Repave X is building a sustainable and circular, decentralised manufacturing ecosystem that addresses waste, carbon emissions, and infrastructure quality at once.
