Besides sharing your location live with your emergency group of contacts and letting them know where you are, RideSafe goes a mile ahead by intelligently detecting possible route deviations, alerts the user and their SOS contacts. At the heart of RideSafe, lies the Real-time Route Deviation Detection (R2D2) engine from Locus, which helps the user and it’s SOS contacts to track deviation and not just the location. It is the most comprehensive app available for consumers that offers value across all age groups and travellers. It also helps parents out there who are concerned about their children's safety. RideSafe uses AI to detect route deviations. The route deviation engine primarily works on the distance and direction parameters. If the user is headed in the right direction and has not deviated from the intended path, all works fine.
