What is the problem the startup is solving? PavitraIndia is a vision and motto of Rifiuto waste Management, focusing on solving problem of waste plastics initially and entire Municipal waste subsequently. In India disposal of wastes is commonly done by dumping (on land or into water bodies), incineration or long term storage in a secured facility. All these methods have varying degrees of negative environmental impacts with adverse environmental and health risks if wastes are improperly disposed or stored. Land-fills generate methane gas, which is explosive and contributes to the greenhouse effect. Incinerating plastic and other toxic waste causes severe health problems, because plastics tend to produce toxic substances, such as dioxins, when they are burnt. Gases from incineration may cause air pollution and contribute to acid rain, while the ash from incinerators may contain heavy metals and other toxins. In rural areas plastic waste is generally burnt in open air due to insufficient waste management methods. Burning plastic waste in open air is very toxic and contributes to air pollution subsequently increases possibilities for Cancer. Under water Dumping of plastic waste has affected Marine life very badly. Methane and other toxic chemicals produced by contaminated plastic is causing death of various water borne species. The usable quality of plastic degrades every time after recycling hence after a certain period of time it should not be recycled. Plastic comprises of high calorific value, we waste lot of energy and capital in form of plastic garbage while we are on the verge of shrinking conventional fuels. How does your startup propose to solve this problem? PavitraIndia is fighting for the clean and green India while focusing on the most efficient way to manage waste. We are working on the concept of zero waste. We have realized the need of waste segregation at source and at processing site for the maximizing the utility of waste and minimizing the amount of waste goes into the landfills. As a startup we are initiating this mission with Plastic waste. Plastic waste is the most hazardous amongst Municipal waste. To convert Plastic waste into useful product without degrading its quality we are using plastic Pyrolysis process, which converts harmful waste plastic into useful furnace oil in absence of oxygen. This process has been supported by Central pollution Control board as well as MP PCB. The process converts Plastic waste into Furnace Oil and Useful carbon black. Our technology goes beyond this process which converts this furnace oil in to high speed Diesel. We have applied to obtain India patent for the Machine. Both of the Processes are vacuum processes so there are no harmful elements coming out of the machines. For Machine Energy requirements we are using LPG and Diesel produced by our Machine itself which is making it entirely Pollution free. This process not only solves the problem of Plastic waste, it produces Diesel fuel which is an important factor in development of our country. Import of crude oil takes major portion of our country’s debt and directly put an impact on Inflation. What is the uniqueness of your solution? PavitraIndia is founded to keep India clean and green, we are determined to Use only those processes which are Eco-friendly. The Health of the environment and people of India has prime importance over any financial benefits. Our concept of diminishing waste is very unique. We are converting most harmful plastic waste into High Speed Diesel Oil, Which will serve two purposes; eliminating plastic cycle completely and producing Diesel fuel for the country. Our concept is to segregate all different types of waste at source by making citizens aware of the benefits of proper waste management on their health and to the country. All recyclable waste is proposed to go to recycling factories. 50% of the waste comprises of organic waste, to create best value out of organic waste it will be treated in Bio gas plants where it will provide clean and useful cooking gas as well as natural compost to farmers. Construction waste and dust will be utilized in making bricks which will help in reducing soil mining and provide better bricks for construction. Our process will include waste segregation at processing site as well which will follow the waste segregation methods implied by developed countries and will follow the Goa government initiative to segregate the waste at processing site. We are working on zero waste concepts and our target is to send 0% useless waste to landfill sites, which will save a lot of useful land of the government. The Highlight of the project is Our Patented technology to convert Furnace Oil into High Speed Diesel. This Diesel follows BS VI norms which is futuristic Fuel for all Automobile Engines. It does not possess the sulfur content which makes it less polluting.
