Two Indian Inventors has developed a patented technology namely 'Device for removing Particulate Matter from Exhaust Gases of Internal Combustion Engine'. The technology can be adopted in most ICE equipment and hence has wide applications. The device shall replace the muffler of the vehicle. It traps and removes particulate matter to the extent of 90% from the exhaust gases of internal combustion engine thereby improving its emission compliance one level of more (say BS III to BS IV) without increasing the resistance to the flow of exhaust gases and in the process improves fuel efficiency by minimum 20%. The product has been tested for its claims in AVL Technical Centre, Gurugram for its claims and has undergone over 80,000 kms of on-road trials. The Technology is in readiness level 7.
