With the Urbanization and Modernization, the mankind has left the natural products and the use of synthetic chemical products has increased to a great extent. The use of this synthetic product have covered our lifestyle in every segment starting from office furniture, doors and windows, carry bags, containers, crockery, utensils, drinking water bottles, stationary items, electronic devices and so on. Most of these products are non-biodegradable and remains there in the sea, river and soil for hundreds of years. This situation has adversely affected our environment and climate and has disturbed the natural and marine ecosystems and ecological pyramids. Thousands of metric tons of plastic garbage is choking the sewage pipes and is removed from the sea shores which are thrown by the tourists. Waste plastic bottles and other items have created a mountain of garbage in most of the cities of the world. India is an agriculture based country and our most of the economy depend upon the agricultural products. Maintenance of the shelf life of the perishable items is our main requirement. In India only on the daily basis thousands of meters of aluminum foil is used in our houses and restaurants which later on thrown in the dustbin on the same day.
