e-dehaat is a trademark of RUSOM E-com International Private Limited. We are an e-commerce marketplace providing an online platform through our website and mobile application to the sellers and buyers of our country. Our motto is 'From Village, To Village'. Thus we reach out to small sellers, selling a variety of products from all across the country and encourage them to sell their products online to get a PAN India consumer exposure. We focus on the rural markets of India & deliver products at every corner of the country. To make this possible, we have planned to open our 'Order & Collection Centers' (OCCs) at block levels in each district of the country. We have already opened 150+ such OCCs in states like Bihar & UP. We have set a target of opening 10000 OCCs by the end of this year. We provide our franchise to existing small shops having a computer and internet connectivity like a cyber cafe or a mobile phone shop at block levels, on a revenue sharing model and these centers act as our interface in the locality. Though we have launched our website & mobile application in Hindi & English and also planned to introduce all major regional languages in the coming months, consumers (who are unable to place their orders from website or mobile app due to various reasons) can directly place their orders from these centers. If delivery is not possible at consumer's doorstep, these centers act as collection centers and the consumers can also avail 'Cash on Delivery' service through these centers. We deliver quality products to the farmers like seeds & fertilizers, farm equipment, machinery & tools, etc. at their doorstep or at the nearest OCC at a price much lower than the market rate as the products are directly sold by the manufacturers. We also offer other products like apparels, footwear, mobile phones, home appliances, kitchen items, etc. This model is a perfect example of Digital India where farmers are getting quality products at their doorstep, the small shop owners are earning extra income with zero investment, small sellers are getting a wonderful platform to sell their products in all parts of the country and we are also getting benefited by earning a modest margin.
