Sahakar Industries is a technology-enabled food processing startup transforming the traditional papad industry through full automation, rural women empowerment, and scalable manufacturing. The Company operates automated production lines covering kneading, rolling, controlled drying, and packaging. The core innovation lies in advanced automatic drying equipment, replacing conventional sun-drying methods, thereby ensuring uniform moisture control, enhanced hygiene, and significantly higher production capacity of approximately 2,500 kg per shift per line. The enterprise is committed to 100% women employment in rural areas, enabled by SOP-based automated systems that do not require highly skilled labour, thereby making large-scale employment generation feasible and sustainable. The Company manufactures 25 varieties of flavoured papad, including gluten-free and healthier options, catering to evolving consumer demand. The standardized and export-ready packaging supports both domestic and international markets. The business model is scalable on both capacity and geographical parameters, with phased expansion across states and export markets.
