Salutary Nutrifoods was founded by Dr. Sushma Appaiah in 2020 and later on converted as an LLP in Feb/2021 with Co-Founder Dr. Anu Appaiah, at Mysore. Both Founder and Co-founder are alumni of CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore. Salutary Nutrifoods is envisaged with concept of nutraceuticals extraction from agro- waste for value addition. Another major area is to provide Innovative, easy to use convenient foods with natural products. All products are based on concept of easy to eat or drink foods/beverages, to provide healthy and nutritious foods as meal replacers/as complete foods/as thereupatics for all age groups and also for populations with lifestyle disorders. Objectives of Salutary Nutrifoods are: a) Nutraceuticals or Bioactive Extractions b) Formulation of Theurapautic Foods c) Nutrition Formulations for Disadvantaged Populations d) Waste Utilization or conversion of waste to wealth e) Symbiotic Formulations At present products for specially abled population, diabetics and many more, are at various stages of validation to early traction. These products are formulated from cereals, millet and pulses based on the target population as Ready to eat (RTE), Ready to cook (RTC) and Ready to drink (RTD). Founder: Dr. Sushma Appaiah.
