Samdoli Eakta Farmers Producer Company Limited is a farmer-led organization based in Miraj Taluka of Sangli District, Maharashtra. The Company is governed by a Board of 10 Directors, all of whom are dedicated farmers committed to advancing agricultural interests as their primary objective. The Chairman and Managing Director, Shri Vaibhav D. Patil, brings extensive leadership experience, having served as the Gram Panchayat Sarpanch and Chairman of the Sangli Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC). His deep-rooted connections with farmers, transporters, and various stakeholders in the agricultural sector significantly strengthen the Company’s network and outreach. The Chief Executive Officer and Director, Mr. Virendra R. Kolekar, has over 18 years of expertise in agronomy, biotechnology, and organic inputs. With a vast network of farmers across India and internationally, he has conducted research in more than 12 countries. Mr. Kolekar has taken on the role of CEO with full commitment to driving growth, innovation, and sustainable agricultural development within Samdoli Eakta Farmers Producer Company Limited. Together, the leadership and Board of Directors work collaboratively to empower farmers, enhance productivity, and promote sustainable farming practices for the benefit of the community and region. At present, Samdoli Eakta Farmers Producer Company Limited proudly counts over 314 registered farmer members. These members will be collectively cultivating more than 1,000 acres of fully irrigated agricultural land dedicated to the plantation of Super Napier Grass for our pioneering Biomass Pellet Project. This initiative is set to be the first of its kind in India under a Farmers Producer Company, with an ambitious production target of 24,000 metric tonnes of biomass pellets per annum.
