Samsara Greentech is an early stage start-up working towards providing a second life to Lithium-ion batteries. Unlike Lead Acid batteries, Lithium Ion batteries requires more natural resources and also has a longer life. For a Business, Li-Ion batteries are no more a consumable but an asset. Though the BESS is growing at a rapid rate, the service infrastructure to back up this growth has fallen behind. This is apparent from the constant issues being faced by end users of EVs. Most of the LIB deployed in EVs, due to demanding uses and constant evolving nature of technology needs maintenance requirement at-least once in their life-time. Samsara Greentech is going to help businesses and Environment by providing repair services to business like fleet operators, and Battery swapping stations. Even though the prices of LIB batteries have come down drastically, it is still very pricey as compared to conventional Lead Acid batteries hindering its adoption in stationary & other less demanding areas. Samsara Greentech will be involved in refurbishing of EV batteries for stationary application, hence increasing its adaptation into other areas.
