Sanlayan Technologies Private Limited was incorporated on 12 September 2023 (2 years and 5 months old) in Bengaluru, Karnataka, under the Companies Act, 2013. Sanlayan has rapidly emerged as one of India’s fastest-growing vertically integrated defence electronics companies, addressing the indigenous deep-tech gap in India’s defence value chain. It operates at the intersection of radar engineering, electronic warfare (EW), RF & microwave subsystems, embedded computing, and high-efficiency power electronics. Its vision is to deliver fully indigenous, full-stack, battlefield-deployable defence electronics platforms that reduce India’s dependence on foreign OEMs across these critical segments. For FY 2024–25, Sanlayan reported a turnover of ₹3,49,30,000 (Three crore forty-nine lakh thirty thousand rupees), below the ₹300 crore ceiling prescribed for deep tech startups. Sanlayan was established as a new entity and has not been formed by splitting or reconstructing any existing business. To accelerate its radar and electronic warfare roadmap, Sanlayan has acquired Dexcel Electronics Designs Pvt. Ltd. and Versabyte Data Systems Pvt. Ltd., bringing deep, proven defence electronics expertise in-house. Dexcel strengthens FPGA-based embedded computing, high-speed digital design, and mission-critical system integration—powering the digital back-ends and signal processing “brain” of radar and EW systems. Versabyte adds robust, defence-grade power electronics capability, delivering high-efficiency, thermally managed power subsystems essential for GaN TR modules, high-power microwave systems, and airborne or drone-based EW payloads. Together, these acquisitions create deliberate vertical integration across RF, embedded computing, and power electronics—reducing external dependency, accelerating development cycles, and ensuring full-stack IP ownership under a unified R&D roadmap.
