Sattva Wellbeing and Consulting Private Limited is a social impact startup committed to developing accessible, trauma-informed mental health and psychosocial rehabilitation services for survivors of violence, torture, discrimination, and marginalized communities. The company works at the intersection of mental health, human rights, social innovation, and community healing. Its mission is to restore dignity, emotional well-being, resilience, and social participation through survivor-centred and evidence-based approaches. Sattva Wellbeing focuses on: Trauma-informed mental health support Psychosocial rehabilitation Testimonial Therapy and narrative healing Community-based wellness models Survivor leadership and peer support Capacity building and training Research and innovation in mental health care The startup draws inspiration from decades of grassroots human rights and rehabilitation work carried out through initiatives associated with PVCHR and Jan Mitra Nyas. Its approach combines compassion, community participation, psychological healing, and social justice. An important milestone for the company has been its incubation partnership with IIT Ropar – Technology Business Incubator Foundation (TBIF). According to the incubation agreement, the startup aims to develop a “structured psychosocial care model based on Testimonial Therapy to deliver accessible, trauma-informed mental health services for survivors of violence and marginalized communities.” Through the incubation support, the startup receives mentorship, technical guidance, innovation support, and access to research infrastructure to strengthen its social impact initiatives.
