SBPL is planning to set up 200 KLPD Ethanol Biofuel plant at APIIC Growth Centre - (Industrial Estate) Bobbili (Village &Mandal), Vizianagaram (District) Andhra Pradesh, India. The feed stock proposed to be used would be mainly broken / damaged rice and alternatively maize can also be used for production of Bio- Fuel Ethanol. The factory is likely to operate 330 days a years with production capacity of 200 KLPD ( i.e. 200,000 ltrs per day ) at this rate annually SBPL is likely to produce 6.60 Crore liters of Ethanol (Bio-Fuel ) and around 33,660 MT of DDGS ( By-product). Bio-Fuel Ethanol is to be used mainly for blending with petrol by supplying to OMC depots across Andhra Pradesh / nearby States whereas DDGS being sold as Cattle Feed across India mainly to farmers. The estimated project cost of the is Ethanol Project is around Rs.235.30 Crores -this would be group’s initiative in the first Phase and in the second phase group plans to set up Ethyl Acetate Plant with project investment up to another Rs.14.70 Crores. Total investment proposed in two phases is around Rs.250 Crores.
