Manav Utthan Samiti is a voluntary organisation working in India since 1999. It is working in the issues of child development, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, rural development, women empowerment, dalit, labourers, farmers, disabled and minorities. It implements programmes in educational, economic, social and cultural fields. A major intervention of the organisation is with disabled children, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes for whose benefit it is running a free of cost educational and vocational training centre. MUS is primarily working among economically backward and unemployed people. The human resource base of the organisation includes specialist teachers, vocational trainers, psychologists, social workers and other workers.
