SceneIn is a mobile-first, vertically integrated social-commerce platform for India, designed to solve two core problems: 1) The high-fraud, high-scalping C2C ticket resale market, and 2) The fragmented and chaotic social discovery landscape for local events. Our solution is a two-pillar ecosystem. The "Community Engine" allows any user to create, host, and discover hyper-local events, with features like integrated group chats for every event, 1-on-1 messaging, and social profiles. The "Secure Marketplace" is our core innovation. It is India's first trust-based, anti-scalping marketplace, built on a "Fair Value Promise"—a hard-coded price cap that prevents sellers from listing tickets above face value. We secure every transaction with key features like: AI-Powered Ticket Scanning: Our system (using Google Vertex/Gemini) analyzes uploaded tickets (PDF/Image) to auto-fill details and run fraud/duplicate checks. The "SceneIn Vault" (Escrow): All buyer funds are held securely until the transaction is complete. "Moment of Truth" Payouts: Funds are released to the seller only after the buyer confirms successful entry at the venue (or via an automated timer). Mandatory Seller Verification: All sellers must verify their bank/UPI details via Razorpay before listing a ticket, eliminating 90% of low-effort scammers. Our revenue model is a transparent commission (a Seller's Trust Fee & Buyer's Protection Fee) on all successful marketplace transactions.
