In their own words
Art influences society by changing opinions, instilling values and translating experiences across space and time. Research has shown art affects the fundamental sense of self. Painting, sculpture, music, literature and the other arts are often considered to be the repository of a society’s collective memory. Art preserves what fact-based historical records cannot: how it felt to exist in a particular place at a particular time. Art in this sense is communication; it allows people from different cultures and different times to communicate with each other via images, sounds and stories. Art is often a vehicle for social change. It can give voice to the politically or socially disenfranchised. A song, film or novel can rouse emotions in those who encounter it, inspiring them to rally for change. Art also has utilitarian influences on society. There is a demonstrable, positive correlation between schoolchildren’s grades in math and literacy, and their involvement with drama or music activities. Skill Council will create uniformity of training in the field of Art & Culture with the aim of to transform one’s passion to their profession for future. Sector Skill council of Art & Culture is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting art & culture mainly by Certifications with uniformity through out India in various level of training, funding local artists, awarding prizes, and organizing arts and cultural events. We operate at arms-length from the government to prevent political interference in their decisions. India has one of the world’s largest collections of songs, music, dance, theatre, folk traditions, performing arts, rites and rituals, paintings and writings that are known, as the ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage’ (ICH) of humanity. In order to preserve these elements, the Ministry of Culture implements a number of schemes and program aimed at providing financial support to individuals, groups and cultural organizations engaged in performing, visual and literary arts etc. Skill Council working hard to make reality of students passion to profession. For the first time, the Arts Council will also be committing substantial research grants to plug some of these gaps in our knowledge. One of the main problems is finding the framework and language with which to express these benefits creating the right lens through which this transforming ghost of art, everywhere but often invisible, at last shows up as an identifiable presence. But we’ve a lot more work to do in just learning to ask the right questions. In particular we will be looking to form partnerships with the all those institutes committing towards training in the field of art & culture, drawing on their specialist knowledge, facilities and links across the sector. We won’t solve this problem overnight; such studies take time. But if we can work together, we will in time articulate a new language of cultural value that will help all of us to understand better the essential contribution that the arts make to our lives. We have categorised the entire education in the field of art, Music, dance, drama into 12 different certifications programs.

- Self-declared on the government form, unverified
The neighbourhood
This record carries no locality line, so the district is the finest ring we can place it in.
What we do not know
- no CIN on file, so no company-registry record is linked
- no incorporation date
- no address beyond the district
We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.
