SELLORA HIVE PVT LTD, incorporated on 2nd September 2025 and headquartered in Hubli, Karnataka, is an emerging agri-tech startup leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), Deep Learning, and IoT to address critical challenges in agriculture. The company is founded by Smt. Sumangala Sajjan – Managing Director (Finance & Strategy), Mr. Samarth Rayaraddi – Chief Technology Officer (AI & Product Development), and Dr. Mahantesh Sajjan – Strategic Advisor (Research & Innovation). Together, the team brings strong financial leadership, cutting-edge technical expertise, and over three decades of academic research experience. The startup focuses on solving the lack of standardized and efficient methods for grading agricultural produce. Current practices are manual, inconsistent, and prone to disputes, often resulting in unfair pricing for farmers. To address this, SELLORA HIVE has developed an AI-powered produce grading and assessment system, integrating a SaaS-based deep learning model with a Raspberry Pi-enabled device for real-time quality checks. A cloud platform further enhances transparency by storing grading data, generating analytics, and providing reliable insights for all stakeholders. This solution ensures accurate and standardized grading, reduced disputes, cost and time savings, and fair pricing, while improving trust and efficiency across the agricultural supply chain. Its scalable and adaptable design makes it suitable for farmers, APMCs, traders, and allied industries across diverse regions and crops.
