Sheath Technologies builds AI software that optimizes fabric usage across the apparel manufacturing value chain. Fabric is 50-60% of garment production cost, yet the tools managing it haven't fundamentally changed in two decades. Brands guess consumption at costing, procurement over-buys to cover the uncertainty, and cutting rooms run on legacy CAD systems from European vendors that were never designed for optimization at scale. MarkerMind, our first product, uses GPU-accelerated computation to generate all possible cutting layouts for a fabric order in minutes and then optimizes a complete cut plan across waste, efficiency, width, shrinkage, and cutting costs. It saves 2-3% fabric on top of existing solutions. No Indian company is building production-grade nesting software on a GPU/ML stack. Every incumbent in this space (Gerber, Lectra, Optitex) is European or American. Axiom, our second product, uses vision-language models and machine learning to predict fabric consumption with 98% accuracy from historical style data, deployable in days rather than months. India is the world's second largest textile exporter. Making Indian factories more competitive on fabric efficiency directly strengthens their position in global sourcing and supports manufacturing employment across the supply chain. Our technology is cloud-native with on-premise deployment available, making it accessible to mid-tier factories that legacy enterprise software never served.
