As there is fluctuation in the price and availability of food produce in the market of northeast, processing of local products & value added food to our taste is a need of the hour. In my state of Manipur, lack of processing industry caused the cost of product to fluctuate a lot in all form of raw products, especially meat industry. And people mostly import the processed meat produce from other place which are not to our taste and texture. the day to day used products like chilli, ginger, dried fish are also fluctuate. My idea is upon the processing of meat product like sausage, burger patties, meat balls, etc. with the value addition of indigenous flavours of north east like king chilli, mexican coriander, bamboo shoots, etc. And also processing of many spices and herbs along with raw products by adding value and shelf life.
