The name "Shubhavni" is a combination of the names from the Sanskrit language: "Shubha" and "Avni." 1. Shubha: Meaning "auspicious," "fortunate," or "prosperous." 2. Avni: Meaning "earth" or "the earth's natural strength."We combined these two names to form "Shubhavni," representing "Auspicious Earth" and "Our Fortunate Connection to Nature."Shubhavni Smart Farms is an agri-tech startup aiming to cultivate Saffron (Kesar) in a controlled environment by leveraging technology along with automation for growing high-quality Saffron.Over the years, Saffron production in India has declined, and to fulfill the major Demand-Supply gap, we have to rely on importing Saffron.Our Vision at Shubhavni Smart Farms is to grow and promote indoor Saffron cultivation and take a few steps towards making India self-reliant for producing high-quality Saffron, thereby reducing the dependency on imports.
