SigmaPai is an India-based AI platform company building adaptive, explainable artificial intelligence for two of India's most under-served digital verticals: education (EdTech) and financial services (FinTech). Our name is drawn from mathematics — Sigma (Σ) and Pi (Π) — reflecting our thesis that durable AI must be grounded in formal mathematical reasoning, not thin wrappers around generic large language models. India's 1.4 billion citizens face two persistent gaps. In education, one-size-fits-all learning fails students with diverse languages, curricula, and paces; quality personalized tutoring remains a privilege of the affluent. In finance and tax, filing, compliance, and decision-making remain opaque and error-prone for the average Indian taxpayer and small business. Existing AI products are generic, non-explainable, or non-compliant with Indian data residency and regulatory requirements. SigmaPai combines Large Language Models with mathematically grounded reasoning engines to deliver adaptive intelligence that learns each user's context, full explainability by design with source citations and audit trails, and domain-specialized reasoning for Indian curricula (NCERT/state boards) and Indian tax regulations.
