SilicoScreen offers expert-based and statistical in-silico tests to predict the results of Biocompatibility and Toxicity tests according to international standards. We use these predictions for generating toxicological risk assessments which are accepted for regulatory submissions. This service can be used by the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Cosmetic, and Food industries to assess consumer safety. Products requiring human body contact need biocompatibility clearance before regulatory approval for commercialisation. Most developers use either in-vitro cell lines or animals to conduct these tests. These tests are both time-consuming and expensive and may require multiple iterations. Additionally, the majority of these tests do not convert to success in clinical trials. Nowadays, most regulatory agencies like US-FDA, EMEA and MHRA accept in-silico test results to reduce animal testing. Very few companies offer these services globally, compelling developers to conduct conventional tests. SilicoScreen provides a threefold advantage. It reduces the testing time by 98%, testing cost by 80% and the use of animals by at least 75%, providing an edge from both the financial and ethical points of view.
