Skillovilla is on the mission to prepare college students and fresh graduates for the rapidly changing industry environment through a technology-enabled advanced curriculum and curb the structured unemployment problem that all developing countries including India are facing by helping these students land their dream job. Skillovilla is founded by experts from IIT Delhi and IIIT Hyderabad with 5+ years of experience in building and scaling EdTech products. It offers various courses and career tracks on its interactive platform for individuals to upskill themselves and then also connects them with companies to help them get a job. In India, 1.5 million engineers graduate every year but 80% of them remain unemployed. Only 4.8% of computer science engineers can actually write correct logic and only 1.4% can write correct code. Students are earning degrees that do not translate into actual skills. EdTech is the true solution to this problem and we will solve it. All of us are really passionate about education and want to help the students and recent graduates from tier-2 and tier-3 colleges in India by upskilling them and helping them get a job.
