The internet of things technology (IoT) is growing very rapidly growing technology arm involving low power consuming microprocessors (communicating / standalone) with distributed microcontroller having field devices (sensors) attached , the communication / data exchange between various devices could be thru wired mode or wireless mode using wi fi , Bluetooth , RF , Lora , Xbee etc . IoT implementation has been conducted in several sectors. One of them is for various farming techniques. For the traditional farmers, they face problems for monitoring environmental parameters & water quality and the way to increase the quality of the water quickly and efficiently. The proposed system shall be composed of smart sensor module which supports modularity, smart water flow system for controlling system, local network system, cloud computing system and client visualization data. Environmental Parameters : To monitor the environmental condition, collection of the data from smart sensor module , consisting of sensor for temperature , Humidity , Co2 & Light Intensity . The output of these sensors is used to operate the AC , Dehumidifier , Illumination , Fan to maintain a pre defined environmental condition Water Nutritents : The parameters influencing the water conditions are primarily Water Temperature , Ph Value , Water Flow rate .Nutrition Contents ( All to be defined by user ) A study of Data log of the previous climatic and environmental parameter would be of a great help to design a suitable system . Water quality is crucial to the success of cultivation. Water quality monitoring can be measured by various variables including physical, chemical and biological aspects. The essential water parameters are • Hydrogen potential (ph) (5.5 to 5.8 range) • Water temperature (65-72 degrees F range / 18.0-22 degrees Celsius range)
