In their own words
SOHA ORGANICS is an initiative by two young women. Based on farm to fork model, we connect with farmers and supply organic groceries to urban consumers at their doorstep. It serves the dual purpose of taking forward the organic revolution and uplifting the farmers with special focus on female empowerment. We are an all-female team comprising of 10 women. We aim to reduce the exploitation of farmers by giving them their righteous due and helping them move towards more sustainable farming methods. We simultaneously aim to make organic produce widely available to fulfil our vision of providing healthy food to all. Organic is good for farmer, good for environment and good for you. Our aim is to become social entrepreneurs and build a venture that goes beyond profits, and focuses on farmers’ upliftment, women empowerment and healthy food to all. We were selected by FICCI to represent their idea at the World Export Development Forum, 2019, organised by the International Trade Centre, Geneva, held at African Union, Addis Ababa. We have also presented our start up at India Pavilion at Dubai Expo, 2022. Currently, we have a range almost 25 products, comprising of cereals, pulses and spices, ghee, oils and are serving over 1000 customers. We have recently launched our website, www.sohaorganics.in and our organisation is based in Sector 130, Noida.
