SOHAM CARBON INNOVATORS PRIVATE LIMITED

Haridwar, Uttarakhand

DPIIT recognised District Renewable Energy

In their own words

Soham Carbon Innovators (SCI) is leading the way in transforming organicwaste into valuable climate-positive solutions. Across India, a significantportion of waste—from agriculture, municipalities, and forests—remainslargely untapped. This includes over 350 million tonnes of crop residues andanimal manure annually, along with around 60 million tonnes of organicforestry. When managed properly, this biomass which is otherwise waste, canplay a crucial role in restoring soil health, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, providing energy and value-added products, and supporting sustainabledevelopment. At SCI, we specialize in converting this organic waste into two high-impactproducts: biochar and torrefied biomass. Biochar is a porous, carbon-richmaterial produced through pyrolysis, a process that involves heating biomass inan inert or low-oxygen environment. It improves soil fertility, enhances waterretention, and sequesters carbon in the soil for the long term—making it apowerful tool for both agriculture and climate action.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.

Is this your company?

Everything here comes from public government records. If something is wrong, the authoritative place to correct it is the Startup India portal itself, and we will pick the correction up on the next monthly snapshot. To flag an error on our side, write to trust@indianstartupmap.com.
