Artinia is solving a problem hiding in plain sight: heat and chemical styling — straightening, blow-drying, coloring — is now part of daily grooming for Indian consumers, yet no haircare product is engineered to repair and maintain hair through that routine use, especially under Indian hard water, high humidity and pollution. We identified this gap by directly interacting 980+ consumers actively seeking haircare solutions through our existing e-commerce business, before finalizing any formulation. Existing options fall short: global brands aren't built for Indian conditions, local brands rely on surface coatings that cause buildup, and salons work but are expensive and damaging with repeated use. Our innovation is formulation architecture, not a single active — molecular-size actives that smooth the cuticle, repair the cortex and restore the lipid barrier, held together at effective concentrations in one stable system. Getting there meant solving real ingredient-level challenges: safety, compatibility and stability across every active, without losing efficacy.
