The venture is the brain-child of Mr. Shikhar Suman Bassi who holds a Master’s degree in Sports and Health Sciences from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. Recent research shows that there has been a drastic shift in the health profile of our country. More and more emphasis is now laid on lifestyle diseases and the awareness amongst the masses is increasing. Shikhar aims to address this very need of the Indian population by the way of its unique offerings in the areas of sports training and preventive healthcare. The sports training vertical addresses everyone from a beginner to an expert, from an athlete to a non-athlete who is looking to improve his or her health. The preventive healthcare vertical addresses two of the most common lifestyle oriented conditions of Obesity management (for both adults and children) and Osteoarthritis end to end from prevention to post cure or rehabilitation as the need be. Another segment of the offering is the corporate wellness programme that addresses the wellness concerns of the employees of the huge corporate sector of India Inc. Each programme offered is not only unique in its nature but is scientifically designed to cater to individual requirements. The 360° approach to wellness focuses on physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of each person involved with the programme.
