Uval.ai is an AI-powered Technical-Due-Diligence-as-a-Service platform that automates technical hiring through autonomous AI agent swarms. Current technical hiring methods such as algorithmic coding tests and manual take-home assignment reviews are inefficient, time-consuming, and fail to measure real-world engineering capability. Companies spend 3–4 hours of senior engineer time per candidate reviewing assignments, while candidates spend unpaid hours on projects with inconsistent evaluation standards. Uval.ai solves this by deploying a three-stage autonomous evaluation pipeline: 1. AI Repository Evaluation: Candidate GitHub repositories are evaluated against Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) using specialized AI agents (Architecture, Security, Performance, Testing). The system generates structured grading and qualitative feedback. 2. AI Technical Approach Interview: Real-time AI interviews probe formulation decisions, architectural trade-offs, and system thinking to assess genuine understanding. 3. Code Reviewer Round: AI generates questions directly from the candidate’s own code to test ownership, prevent AI-assisted cheating, and evaluate real engineering depth. The platform produces standardized, data-driven technical evaluation reports and candidate rankings. The startup aims to replace traditional algorithm-based technical interviews with requirement-aligned, real-world code evaluation for startups and engineering-led companies globally.
