In their own words
It is on Validation Stage. Currently, I am working with the group of Prof soumitra Satapathi at the department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technolgy Roorkee. I am also involved with the research scholars working here on the development of high efficiency perovskite solar cells and learnt the fabrication process of the same. The spin coater based solution processing technique is mainly utilized to fabricate the solar cells and the metal electrodes are deposited by thermal evaporation technique. We have achieved an efficiency of 15% using MAPbI3 as perovskite layer. I also have worked on two different research projects under the guidance of Prof. RP Saini, Department of Hydro and Renewable Energy, Indian Institute of TechnologyRoorkee, India during September 2019 to December 2021. During this period, I have worked for one year as Project Assistant in “Contingency of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy(MNRE)” Research Project. Whereas, I have worked for another year as Project Associate in “Rural Technology Action Group(RuTAG)” Research Project.In MNRE Project,I have worked on the potential assessment of renewable energy sources. I have also assisted Prof Saini to create new courses of Solar Energy, Wind Energy and Hydro Energy for ITI programme. In RuTAG Project, I have worked on the development of new solar technologies to help thepeople living in rural or hilly area of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, India in their occupation. Solar dryerforspices and wool, solar energy based air cooled vegetable vending, solar energy based Bageshwari Charkha are the technologies developed during this period. I have also assistedvarious research scholars working under Prof.RP Saini on Solar Air Heater and Solar Thermal Energy Storage. During my Bachelor programme (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, I have worked on Biometric Based Aircraft System with Remote Control. In addition to my academic achievements, my final year project“Biometric Based Aircraft System with Remote Control” is patented. Ihave designed the aircraft with determining the stress points, critical points on the wing and fuselage, also worked on experimental and numerical investigation of lift generation concept on airfoils.As I am graduated in Mechanical Engineering, my interest was always inclined towards Thermal Engineering.I have abilities to developing mechanical design concepts on Pro-E/CREO, Solid Works platform. I have designed RC-Air craft parts (my final year project), Solar Air Heater, Vegetable Vending Cart, Solar Dryer on Solid Works platform. I have gone through details of this position and found that it will be a good opportunity for me to utilize my skill in this area. I would like to work with you atUniversity of Malaya and I am confident that my performance and contribution towards my responsibility will always satisfy your expectations and requirements. I am very much interested in joining your research group and want to contribute more to scientific research
