The startup is a proposed Micro and Small Enterprise (MSE) established with the objective of operating as a formal e-waste recycling and management company in India, in strict compliance with the E-Waste (Management) Rules notified by the Government of India and regulated by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The company is designed to implement a sustainable, compliant, and environmentally responsible business model, integrating modern recycling practices with the principles of a circular economy. The core operations will include collection, aggregation, transportation, dismantling, segregation, recycling, and safe disposal of electronic and electrical waste generated by producers, bulk consumers, and importers. The startup will obtain Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) authorization from CPCB and engage with producers and importers to fulfill their statutory recycling obligations. Revenue will be generated by processing end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment, dismantling them into constituent components, segregating materials such as plastics, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, printed circuit boards, and critical fractions, and channelizing them to authorized downstream recyclers and industries. The startup’s vision is to contribute to resource efficiency, reduction of landfill burden, recovery of secondary raw materials, reduction of carbon footprint, and formalization of India’s e-waste recycling ecosystem, while operating as a financially viable and environmentally sustainable enterprise.
