Similar difficulties are faced in old-age care homes and individual households, where lifting elderly or immobile patients from beds to wheelchairs or stretchers poses serious safety risks for both patients and caregivers. StrechWheels aims to eliminate manual lifting by offering a single, foldable, electric mobility solution that functions as both a wheelchair and a stretcher. This solution enhances patient safety, dignity, and comfort, while significantly reducing caregiver effort, injury risk, and operational inefficiencies.
