STRETCH WHEELS VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED

Bengaluru, Karnataka

DPIIT recognised District Healthcare & Lifesciences

In their own words

StrechWheels is a healthcare-focused startup dedicated to improving patient mobility and transfer systems in hospitals, care homes, and residential settings across India and Australia. The startup is developing an innovative electrically mobile wheelchair that can seamlessly convert into a stretcher, addressing one of the most critical operational challenges in healthcare environments. In large hospitals with long corridors and high patient movement, transferring patients between wards, diagnostic areas, and ambulances is time-consuming, physically demanding, and often requires 2–3 caregivers. Similar difficulties are faced in old-age care homes and individual households, where lifting elderly or immobile patients from beds to wheelchairs or stretchers poses serious safety risks for both patients and caregivers. StrechWheels aims to eliminate manual lifting by offering a single, foldable, electric mobility solution that functions as both a wheelchair and a stretcher. This solution enhances patient safety, dignity, and comfort, while significantly reducing caregiver effort, injury risk, and operational inefficiencies.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.

Is this your company?

Everything here comes from public government records. If something is wrong, the authoritative place to correct it is the Startup India portal itself, and we will pick the correction up on the next monthly snapshot. To flag an error on our side, write to trust@indianstartupmap.com.
