Strippy is a dedicated self publishing comic platform where independent Indian comic creators and publish their comics while readers get to easily read all of them at one place for free. Creators also get to earn money depending on the views they receive on their published comics. Earlier, Indian comic creators didn't have a dedicated platform to publish their comics. Some of them posted short comics on Instagram/Twitter as per their limitations while some creators who knew about foreign platforms Webtoon/Tapas, posted there but didn't get visibility as it's dominated by Korean creators and audience. We are trying to solve this problem by providing them a dedicated platform while also trying to promote their work so that it gets the desired viewership. In India, comics and animation are stereotyped as a source of entertainment only for kids while in foreign countries(US/Korea/Japan), it isn't the case. This is mostly because that level of content is not being created here while some which gets created doesn't get the limelight it deserves. We plan to change this.
