Founded in November of 2022, Structural Intelligent Monitoring system pvt ltd is located in Pune, Maharashtra. On August 2, 2016, a 106-year-old bridge on the Savitri river in Mahad, Maharashtra collapsed. Because of the heavy rain and darkness, two transport buses and an SUV were unable to see the broken portion of the bridge while crossing. As a result, the buses and SUV fell into the river, claiming over 40 lives. Because of this mishap, our team decided to take on the initiative to protect bridges and those using them. Using our decade’s worth of research in the Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things fields, we created our Smart Bridge Surveillance system to monitor and prevent any other bridges from collapsing. Our system notifies those crossing the bridge along with officials about any emergencies regarding bridge strength. Currently, our system is in use at the Ahilyabai Holkar Bridge in Nashik, Maharashtra.
