SunQulp.com WEARABLE VEST FOR THE NAVIGATION OF BLIND PEOPLE Introduction- A Patentable hardware device implying electronics, a microcontroller (Arduino), Ultrasonic sensors, speakers and basic coding to work as a navigation device for blind and visually impaired people, giving response to the user about the obstacles in proximity in form of an audio output. I have been working on it since last 3 years and made a basic PCB circuit, serving the demonstration of basic functionality and the proof of concept. Goal - To produce a market ready product, for the successful navigation of blind people Beginning with implying the circuitry in a customized Vest/Jacket, taking it through a phase of improvements via beta tests within small user base, to ultimately setup a company for manufacturing and distribution. Future Vision- 1. A perfect navigation device for the visually impaired people. 2. Job creation by having an ecosystem of On-demand remote assistance to the user via live video/audio connection from Cellphone or an assistance device similar to the Google Glass. 3. Implying GPS and voice assistance for real-time navigation support. 4. Using machine-learning and AI to create a database for identification of common objects.
