Surakshitu solutions private limited is a social enterprise registered in Karnataka. We are working on financial security of unorganised workforce. Low income population in India is ~ 350 million, out of this 80% work in unorganised sector. This segment lack access to suitable financial products especially around investment, pension and insurance. Less than 5% of the this workforce have access to pension, less than 17% have life insurance cover and less than 1% have taken any voluntary health insurance. The utility of the government schemes is also very low. To solve this, we are creating an approach by which we are educating the potential customers, allowing theme to experience the products and then adopt the right products.
