"Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) Through the "Convergence of Capacities“ Electronic Manufacturing is the Fastest-Growing Segment India and contributing to the second-highest foreign deficit after the Fuel. On the other, Products imported from China are posing the following threats. a. Information Security threat b. Poor Quality c. Poisonous E-waste due to non-Standardization. d. Financial loss to the Consumer and Government. Though Chinese products has been banned in the Defense Industry to an extent, for other industries like Consumer, Telecom, Railways etc is not possible due to the lower cost of these products from China. One of the major contributions to the higher production cost in India is the cost of overheads this includes Rental, Finance, Manpower, Etc. This is again due to the fact that "underutilization of most of the Capacities". On the Other hand, Setting up the electronics manufacturing industry is a highly expensive affair and requires agility in adopting technology changes in the product, process, etc. It also requires continuous investment as per the technology changes. For an Enthusiastic entrepreneur, it's quite challenging and risky to invest in such a volatile industry. Despite, having done the same, they end up solving the operational issues and fail in marketing the capacity and finally, end up with underutilization of the capacity. If the Capacity is not being utilized by the company due to market dynamics or Poor market-driven strategies, Generating ROI is very difficult and causing the negative growth of such an organization.
