Swadha Agri Private Limited was started in July 2021 with the intention that small cities, especially Tier III, are deprived of hygienically packed milk which is home delivered to customers on monthly subscription model. The idea was to deliver milk which is: 1. Sourced locally from small farmers and milk producers through our collection partners. 2. Test it for quality on vital parameters including fat, SNF, water content and pH value. 3. Pack the milk, within hours of milking in glass bottles and seal it. 4. Deliver it at the doorstep of consumers through our delivery partners. Swadha Agri has been started as a new venture by two young sister and brother in their early 30s– one a management post graduate and the other an engineer – coming from small district of Palamu in Jharkhand. The two seeded the idea of Milk in a Bottle as they experienced the gap after spending time in big cities. The gap sowed the seeds in their minds to give big city experience to the people of small cities in terms of quality of milk and milk products. The inevitable happened and an entrepreneurial venture Swadha Agri Private Limited is born. Their deep downed discussions with consumers and milk suppliers on the needs of the market and pain points of consumers, led them to work towards raising the Bar for Milk and milk products in small cities. They quit their jobs and with their meagre savings and launched a fresh enterprise Swadha Agri. The past six months and the Lockdown have borne fruit and here is Swadha, Palamu's first unprocessed, hygienically packed and home-delivered milk and milk products. Swadha Agri is just a beginning of a powerful Woman Entrepreneurship and #VocalForLocal Story. Swadha Agri promises the purest Milk at the best prices! The company is already invested in machinery and is delivering over 500 litres of cow and buffalo milk and milk products. The company is aiming initially to reach the milestone of 10,000 litres supply of milk in Palamu before replicating the same system in other Tier III and Tier II cities.
